ARCTURUS (ark-TOUR-uss)

The name Arcturus comes from the ancient Greek Arktouros, meaning Guardian of the Bear.

Arcturus is the brightest star in the northern celestial hemisphere. Arcturus is a red giant star and is many times bigger and brighter than the Sun.

Arcturus means many things to many cultures.

Prehistoric Polynesian navigators knew Arcturus as Hokulea, the Star of Joy.
In India, it is referred to as the abode of Saraswathi – the goddess of learning. Also, in Indian astrology, it is referred to as ‘Swati’, meaning ‘beneficent’.

For us, Arcturus is an amalgamation of the brightest and the most beneficent solution for healthy aging.
